Maceo Parker provided impossibly funky saxophone for James Brown and Parliament Funkadelic in the ‘60s and ‘70s, worked with Prince in the ‘90s, and has been touring up to the present day.

He will be in Australia for Bluesfest, and booked two shows for Melbourne and two for Sydney. Now, he announces extra shows atop his first Sydney shows, so he’ll play both at 9:30 and at midnight on both evenings.

Fans who already have tickets for the 9:30pm Basement shows can stay for free, and tickets for the midnight slots are on sale now at www.thebasement.com.au or by calling 02 9251 2797.
