Morrissey will perform his only Australian shows for Vivid Live in Sydney in May.
Morrissey will perform four ‘An Evening With Morrissey’ shows at the Sydney Opera House. Sandra Chipcase, Destination NSW CEO said, “Vivid LIVE is set to wow audiences once again with the announcement of influential indie musician, Morrissey as the first artist of this year’s program. As one of music’s most enduring figures, Morrissey is set to captivate audiences in his Sydney-exclusive performances during Vivid Sydney.”
Tickets for the four Morrissey shows will be allocated via ballot so that all fans have equal chance of obtaining tickets. The Sydney Opera House will put an online application process in place for fans to apply for tickets from March 2 until March 5.
Tickets will not be allocated on a first in, first serve basis. Instead all applications received over the time period will be equally considered. There will be no over the phone or in person sales.
Morrissey will perform ‘An Evening With Morrissey’ shows on May 26, 27, 30 and 31.
