The Original Blues Brothers Band. featuring the legendary Steve Cropper, have been added to Bluesfest.

Cropper put the original band together for the iconic movie with artists he performed with on legendary hits from Atlantic and Stax. Cropper was the guitarist in Booker T & The MG’s and he wrote the classic ‘Sitting On The Dock Of The Bay’ with Otis Redding.

The Blues Brothers were the creation of John Belushi and Dan Ackroyd. Originally Saturday Night Live characters, the Blues Brothers took on a life of its own with the album ‘A Briefcase Full of Blues’ (1978) followed by The Blues Brothers movie, directed by John Landis, in 1980.
