After an abortive attempt to bring New Kids On The Block to Australia a few years ago, this time Live Nation have stepped in to take-over the Australian leg of the merged bands.

“If our fans want us down under, we’ll go down under,” said New Kids’ Donnie Wahlberg in a statement. “Our international fans have been flying to see us stateside for years, so now we are bringing the show to them. Get ready Australia, we are coming to you!”

New Kids On The Block and Backstreet Boys merged into NKOTBSB in 2010. The tour has already run across the USA.

Australia is limited to four shows only.

Dates are:

May 19, Melbourne, Rod Laver Arena
May 21, Adelaide, Entertainment Centre
May 23, Brisbane, Entertainment Centre
May 26, Sydney, Allphones Arena

Tickets go on sale on December 8 through Ticketek.
