After an exception debut in 2014, the Americana music festival Out On The Weekend will return for 2015 and this time Sydney has a date allocated as well.

The first Out On The Weekend, in Melbourne only this year, featured Justin Townes Earle, Ryan Bingham and Henry Wagons.

For 2015, the Out On The Weekend festival has expanded to Sydney and will be held at Bella Vista Farm in Bella Vista.

For Melbourne, the festival will return to Williamstown.

BT from the Love Police had this to say:

Hello Music Lovers,

So in October last year Out On The Weekend was birthed in Melbourne. It was an amazing day of Americana music, food, drinks and good times. Ask anyone that went! The vision we had for the celebration of all things Americana, was lovingly delivered on a glorious day by Port Phillip Bay. So we gotta do it again right? And why not bring it to Sydney as well. Yeah, let’s do that.

Almost by accident we came upon Bella Vista Farm, out west of the Sydney CBD. A historic homestead and farm, the space was too good to not do something special. So amongst two hundred year old buildings, great local flora and some curious sheep, we are creating a top-notch experience for the ages. Rest assured all the bits that made Melbourne incredible will be on offer in both fine cities in our attempt to bring the good times to all.

It’s been a great year for our type of music, so let’s all gather in October and shake, sway, sip and scoff down the right stuff. All hand selected, all quality. Love to see you all there.

Cheers,

BT, Love Police
