Sons of Chris Wilson to join Bigger Than Jesus at Espy Gig

George and Fenn Wilson, the sons of Melbourne bluesman Chris Wilson, will join the Bigger Than Jesus line-up at The Espy in December to honour their father with their band Pollyman.

Chris Wilson is suffering from pancreatic cancer. The Wilson’s and Bigger Than Jesus will pay tribute to Chris as well as their former bandmate Craig Whitelock who died in September.

Bigger Than Jesus is former X frontman Steve Lucas on lead vocals; Kevin McMahon on bass; Hank Oudendyk and Brett Kingman duelling on guitars and stepping into the shoes of the band’s original powerhouse drummer, the late Craig Whitelock will be Paul Foenander.

The Invictus Trio, featuring three members of The Invictus Quartet will also perform on the night.

DJs are Mary Mihelakos and James Young.

Tickets for Bigger Than Jesus at The Espy are $25.80 (incl. booking fee) on sale now through Moshtix.
