Taylor Swift On Track To Sell 1,000,000 This Week

Taylor Swift ‘Red’ will sell over 1,000,000 units in its first week on sale in the USA.

Taylor’s last album sold 1,047,000 in week one and went on to sell 4,165,000 to date.

According to hitsdailydouble.com, The country star is outselling number 2 Kendrick Lamar ‘Good Kid M.A.A.D. City’ by 4 to 1 with about 54% of sales counted. It is Lamar’s debut album.

Other Top 10 debuts for the USA this week include ‘Tony Bennett ‘Viva Duets’, Stone Sour ‘House of Gold & Bones Part One’ and Swedish House Mafia ‘Until Now’.

Also lower down the chart expect an appearance from Lady Antebellum with their Christmas album ‘On This Winter’s Night’ and Austin blues guitarist Gary Clark Jr with ‘Blak and Blu’.
