Less than five months after Captain Fantastic And The Brown Dirt Cowboy, the British superstar released his tenth studio album, a record that marked both a musical shift and the close of one of the most prolific creative periods in pop history.

Half a century after it first conquered charts around the world, Elton John’s landmark 1975 album Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy is being celebrated with a special 50th Anniversary Edition, due October 24th.

Elton John and Brandi Carlile have collaborated for a new album ‘Who Believes In Angels’. The album was produced by Andrew Watt (Rolling Stones/Ozzy Osbourne) and features the lyrics of Bernie Taupin but the whole thing almost never happened.
