Blondie Package New Album With Greatest Hits For 40th Anniversary

Blondie’s 10th studio album ‘Ghosts of Download’ will come package with their greatest hits.

Blondie launched ‘Ghosts of Download’ in March at SXSW in Austin, Texas and will release ‘Blondie 4(0) Ever’ featuring ‘Ghosts of Download’ in May to mark their 40th anniversary.

‘Ghosts of Download’ was produced by Jeff Saltzman (The Killers, The Vasco Era). The new album features Blondie founders, the pioneering frontwoman/songwriter Debbie Harry, guitarist/conceptual mastermind Chris Stein and powerhouse drummer Clem Burke, along with newer band mates Leigh Foxx (who has been with the band since ’97), guitarist Tommy Kessler and keyboardist Matt Katz-Bohen.

Blondie started their 40th anniversary on New Year’s Eve at New York’s Time Square. and then played on Super Bowl Boulevard ahead of the Super Bowl before performing at SXSW.

‘Blondie 4(0) Ever’ with ‘Ghosts of Download’ will be released in Australia through Caroline Records on May 16.
