Carlos attended the school 45 years ago.

He will speak to the students and then members of his band including his drummer wife Cindy will play for the 1,750 students who will watch from their folding wooden assembly seats.

32 students of the Mission High School choir will sing first then members of the Guitar Club will play with Carlos.

Carlos’ Milagro Foundation will donate 20 acoustic and 12 electric guitars to the school.

Mission High School was founded in San Francisco in 1890. It is California’s oldest high school. It is located on 18th Street between Dolores and Church.
