Charlie A’Court To Kick Off Australian Tour In Gympie This Weekend

in News

Canadian blues guitarist Charlie A’Court will start his Australian tour with a couple of shows at the Gympie Muster this weekend followed by a series of East Coast shows over the next two weeks.

Charlie A’Court’s 2015 album ‘Come On Over’ was produced by Mark Lizotte (Diesel) and featured Mahalia Barnes on the song ‘I’m Sorry’. The song ‘Refused To Fear’ was written by Australia’s Lloyd Spiegel. Lloyd was touring Europe and Charlie Canada at the time so the two worked via Skype to create the song.

Lloyd Spiegel will co-headline the Flying Saucer Club date with Charlie in Melbourne.

Kraftwerk Beam Down Into Melbourne Captain’s Log Stardate 0812230830pm #REVIEW

I wasn’t quite prepared for the “strap in and enjoy the ride’ experience of Kraftwerk. I hadn’t seen them live since the Big Day Out of 2003. It was still light when they came in, in the tent (not the outdoor stage) and they were wearing suits. Someone at the time commented that it was like watching four businessmen in the Qantas Club sending emails to each other.
