The boxing match between Chris Brown and Soulja Boy has been called off.

The feuding stars challenged each other to the fight in January (17) after a war of words online over Chris’ ex Karrueche Tran and the match seemed to be coming together, with boxer Floyd Mayweather reportedly promoting the event and Mike Tyson volunteering to help Chris train for it.

On Sunday (19Feb17), the Crank That (Soulja Boy) star claimed Chris was backing out and refusing to sign the contract and on Monday night (20Feb17) he revealed the Run It singer’s manager phoned up his to call the fight off.

“Chris Brown manager call my manager last night sand (sic) said the fight is off and he’s not signing contract,” he tweeted. “Don’t ask me about the s— no more… I aint gon say he a b**ch or he shook (scared) or nothing. I’m just gon say he don’t wanna fight. simple. I can’t force him to sign the s**t.”

When a fan directly asked if the fight will go ahead, Soulja Boy replied, “Nah he acting like a B**ch. Won’t sign the boxing contract.”

The whole saga began when Soulja Boy, real name DeAndre Cortez Way, embarked on an expletive-filled online rant about Chris, claiming the singer had called him up and threatened to fight him because the rapper ‘liked’ one of model turned actress Karrueche’s pictures on Instagram.

She reportedly waded into their fight by commenting how “ridiculous” the feud was on Chris’ Instagram page.

“First off this drama between both of these two is so ridiculous it makes no sense,” she wrote. “We just brought in a new year and what we doing…?? This isn’t cool or funny… it’s draining… not just for me… but for everyone. There’s so much more out there in life then ‘twitter beefs’.”

Chris, who dated her on and off between 2011 and 2015, reportedly responded by saying the fight wasn’t about her and to “keep the fame you got and stay classy”.
