Brown has certainly had an tumultuous time in the lead up to the release of Fortune, nabbing a Grammy and performing twice at the awards, which revived outrage about his 2009 domestic assault charge for bashing fellow pop star Rihanna.

Still, the R&B superstar forges ahead with his sixth album Fortune, which will be released in Australia on May 4. There will be a deluxe edition, with extra songs, and if fans pre-purchase at www.chrisbrownworld.com they’ll get an instant download of the first single ‘Turn Up The Music’.

Brown will be in Australia before the release of the album, where he’ll be showcasing new songs and his hits alongside P. Diddy, Missy Elliott, Ice Cube, Rick Ross and more at Supafest around the nation in April.

Supafest 2012
