Coldplay Perform Seven Song Set At The X Studio Sydney

by Paul Cashmere on December 8, 2016

in News

Coldplay took over The X Studio in Sydney on Wednesday for a special performance for 200 fans for Nova’s Red Room.

Coldplay performed a seven-song set opening with one of their earliest hits ‘Yellow’ (2000) and ending in a festive mood with the 2010 Christmas single ‘Christmas Lights’.

Singer Chris Martin explained why only 200 people were in the audience. “The reason why no one is coming to see us anymore is because we’re not very good,” he told the room.

The performance from The X Studio was broadcast live across Australia on the Nova network.
