During downtime while filming the six-song episode, Daryl gave Jason some cooking lessons.
Jason popped over to see Daryl Hall for the 55th edition of ‘Daryl’s internet TV show ‘Live From Daryl’s House’.
Hall & Mraz filmed six songs together including new versions of Jason’s ‘I Won’t Give Up’ from his new album ‘Love Is A Four Letter Word’, his classic ‘The Remedy’, ‘You And I Both’ from ‘Waiting For My Rocket To Come’ and ’93 Million Miles’ off the new album.
They also performed Daryl’s ‘Eyes Of You’ from his ‘Laughing Down Crying’ and the Hall & Oates 1990 hit ‘So Close’.
“I think visiting Daryl’s house today will probably put more soul into my shows,” Jason said. “I’ve always loved his voice from way back, so being able to throw a high harmony on his from time to time is real cool. As a singer, you look forward to singing with other singers, and there’s no one better than Daryl Hall.”
“Jason has a high, clear voice and contributes great harmonies. I really enjoyed singing the verses of his songs, too. It was a lot of fun, said Daryl”.
