Davey Lane Close To Crowd-Funding Target For Solo Album

You Am I guitarist Davey Lane is close to reaching his crowd-funding target of $15,000 for his for his debut solo album.

With 15 days left in the campaign, Lane has had $12,165 of the $15k target pledged from 128 supporters.

Lane was 18-years old when he joined You Am I in 1999 for the live album ‘…Saturday Night, ‘Round Ten’. He has been with thebans ever since as well as fronting his own band The Pictures.

In September 2013, Davey released his solo EP ‘The Good Borne of Bad Tymes’ and now via Pozible plans on recording his first album.

Funds raised from the Pozible campaign will go towards recording and manufacturing with additional funds being used for a vinyl run and additional promotion.

Fans who pledge for Davey Lane’s Pozible campaign can earn original paintings from The Pictures artwork, Davey will make you a guitar and you can also pick-up a Davey Lane cookbook.
