David Gilmour’s new solo album Rattle That Lock is producing big sales around the world, opening at number 1 in a number of countries including the U.K.
On Friday, he released the official video for the track Today. Gilmour said of the track “Today was one of the ones that Phil [Manzanera] put together from two or three pieces of music of mine that I had sort of ignored. He’s very good at finding them and saying, ‘that’s great, you should use it … and how about using it with that piece and that piece.’ So he mocked that one up. It’s a gift.”
The video was directed by Aubrey Powell.
