The legendary Doobie Brothers will perform a special show in October to raise money for the John Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center in Baltimore.

The Doobie Brothers recently celebrated their 40th anniversary and have sold 40 million albums over their 40 years.

The band still features founding members Tom Johnston and Pat Simmons who played on the debut album as well as John McFee, Guy Allison, John Cowan, Tony Pia, Marc Russo and Ed Toth.

The Doobie Brothers released their debut album in 1971. Their most recent album ‘World Gone Crazy’ was released in 2010.

The ‘One Night, One Show, One Cause’ event will include a VIP Meet and Greet and a live guitar auction with guitars donated by Carlos Santana and Slash.

Tickets are available from $36 from the John Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center.
