E For Echo Set For Single Launch Tonight In Sydney

Sydney five-piece E For Echo will launch their debut single ‘Not Like You’ tonight at Leadbelly in Newtown.

Out front of E For Echo is Jenna Murphy and Zana Rose backed by Adrian Leighton on lead guitar, James McKenna on bass and Marc Watson on beats and samples.

‘Not Like You’ is the first taste of the E For Echo album coming later in the year.

E For Echo draws comparisons to The War On Drugs and Bombay Bicycle Club. Jenna and Zana’s voices blend on top of an atmospheric soundtrack from Adrian, Marc and James.

Triple J unearthed refers to their music as “a mix of romantic melancholy and nocturnal angst”.

For the birth of E For Echo be at Leadbelly Newtown tonight (Friday 28 April 2017).
