Eagles Kick Off Australian Tour In Perth

by Paul Cashmere on February 19, 2015

in Live,News

Eagles ‘The History of the Eagles’ tour is underway in Australia with the first show kicking off in Perth on Wednesday night.

‘The History of the Eagles’ is a different show to the last two tours. Original member Bernie Leadon is back with the band and the setlist includes rare songs Leadon performed on in the studio such as ‘Saturday Night’ and ‘Train Leaves Here This Morning’.

‘Witchy Woman’ is back in the set, while solo songs from Don Henley (Boys of Summer) and Glenn Frey (You Belong To The City) have been replaced with more Eagles.

Joe Walsh fans will still be treated to some solo moments with live favourites ‘Rocky Mountain Way’ and ‘Funk #49’ still prominent.

Timothy B. Schmit has two lead vocal spotlights on this tour with ‘I Can’t Tell You Why’ and ‘Love Will Keep Us Alive’ both in the set.

Eagles are touring Australia and New Zealand for Frontier Touring.
