Ed Sheeran’s cameo for Game of Thrones has debuted in episode 1 of season 7 of the hit fantasy drama.

Sheeran played Lannister soldier in the seventh season premiere.

Ed Sheeran isn’t the only music identity appearing in Season 7. Members of Bastille have reportedly filmed a cameo for a later episode in the season. So has Brent Hinds of Mastadon who will be making his second cameo for the show.

Ed is no stranger to cameos. In 2016 he played himself in a scene from Bridget Jones’ Diary. He also played Teddy in Australia’s Home and Away.

Ed has also appeared in New Zealand soap Shortland Street.
