Ed Sheeran Smashes Australian Ticket Sales Record With Fourth Melbourne Stadium Show

Ed Sheeran’s ticket sales for Melbourne alone will tally over 220,000 sales after a fourth Etihad Stadium show was announced this afternoon.

Sheeran sold over 710,000 tickets in Australia and New Zealand at the conclusion of his first day of sales for the 2017 tour. Additional shows, including the fourth Melbourne, a third Sydney and Dunedin and second Perth, have now been announced.

Friday 2 March – Perth, Perth Stadium [2nd Perth show]
Friday 9 March – Melbourne, Etihad Stadium [4th Melbourne show]
Thursday 15 March – Sydney, ANZ Stadium [3rd Sydney show]
Sunday 01 April – Dunedin, Forsyth Barr Stadium [3rd Dunedin show]

Ed Sheeran said today “I’ve always loved coming to Australia and New Zealand. So many amazing musicians have toured there and I am humbled to have broken these records.”
