Elton John First Dates For Farewell Tour

by Paul Cashmere on February 1, 2018

in News

According to Elton John, he is retiring from the road but not before doing a three-year, 300 performance “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour.

The first dates for that trek are now available with everything kicking off on September 8 in Allentown, PA and, for the (first?) North American leg, running through March 2019.

Already scheduled are multi-night stops in Philadelphia, Washington, Toronto, New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas and Los Angeles and, from the looks of the very tight schedule, there’s not much room for adding any further shows in the case of quick sell-outs.

But now, years later, he has quietly resurfaced, lending his signature alongside bandmates Roger Taylor and Brian May on a charity auction item, signalling, perhaps, that even the most private of souls can still make their mark in unexpected ways.
