Gang of Youths have had an ARIA chart leap this week following their real estate grab of three songs in Triple J’s Hottest 100 of 2017.

Gang of Youths ranked no 2 for Let Me Down Easy:

No 5 for The Deepest Sighs The Frankest Shadows:

And no 10 for What Can I Do If The Fire Goes It:

That created a ripple effect for the ‘Go Farther In Lightness’ with the album jumping from no 28 to no 4 on this week’s ARIA chart.

The no 4 position was awarded 1729 sales points made up of 774 for digital sales, 401 for streams and 554 sales from physical CD or vinyl.

Gang of Youth’s singles also rose on the chart. ‘Let Me Down Easy’ rose to no 49 from 179 and The Deepest Sigh, The Frankest Shadows rose from no 400 to no 93.

Gang of Youth’s will showcase the Go Farther In Lightness album at SXSW in Austin, Texas in March 2018.
