Brisbane’s swoony indie popsters Hungry Kids of Hungary finish their second album and head to the UK and Europe.

The band have just polished off their follow-up to 2010’s Escapades at Albert’s Studios in Sydney with producer Wayne Connolly (Josh Pyke, The Vines, You Am I, Silverchair).
Now they plan to mix the record in Berlin during a European tour. They signed to Rough Trade in the Benelux and Escapades has been a rightful hit. They join the line-up at Pinkpop in the Netherlands alongside Bruce Springsteen, The Cure, Soundgarden, The Wombats, The Hives, and Miike Snow.
In late-May and June they’ll also return to the UK and play their first shows Paris, Germany and Belgium.
Hopefully we’ll see their second album out in Spring.
