In 2016 the music world lost more greats that in any other single year.

Icons David Bowie, Glenn Frey, Prince and George Michael died in 2016. Two members of Daddy Cool and two members of Emerson Lake & Palmer passed away. It was the year Australia said farewell to Jon English and Redgum’s Hugh McDonald, industry giants Sir George Martin and Robert Stigwood died and the world farewelled members of Earth Wind & Fire, Jefferson Airplane, Status Quo, 3 Doors Down and Megadeth, just to name a few.
