Jackknife Stiletto covered the Spice Girls classic for Joan Jett and Kenny Laguna’s Blackhearts Records.

The original ‘Wannabe’ was the debut Spice Girls. The song was a number one pop hit in 1996 in the USA, UK and Australia. The album ‘Spice’ went on to sell 23 million copies worldwide.

The song was written by UK production team Biffco. That fun factory has had 41 hit songs including nine number ones. Kylie Minogue has recorded 17 Biffco songs across her catalogue.

Jackknife Stiletto is Annie Stoic, Mel Funk and Foxy Roxy. They formed in New York in 2013.

Jackknife Stiletto have released two EPs through Blackheart Records.
