Melbourne singer songwriter has gathered up the crew from the Milk Records roster to cameo in her new video ‘Forgot Myself’.

The video features Courtney Barnett reading a newspaper, Bones Sloane (Courtney’s band) as the food artist, Jen Sholakis (Courtney’s band) drinking coffee, actress Tain Stangret as the waitress, Tejo Cruz (Milk Records) as the cook and Anika Ostendoft (Haichiku) as the kitchen hand.

“You want to be with your partner celebrating big moments in their life but at the same time you have your own life to live thousands of miles away. It’s easy to stop taking care of yourself. Easy to forget yourself,” Jen says about the song.

‘Forgot Myself’ is the first taste of Jen Cloher’s upcoming self-titled fourth album due in August. The album will be released through Milk Records, the label she owns with her partner Courtney Barnett.

‘Jen Cloher’ was recorded in South-Eastern Australia and mixed at Jeff Tweedy’s Loft Studios in Chicago.
