Cult filmmaker Kenneth Anger created the film ‘Lucifer Rising’ in the early-’70s and commissioned Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page to write the soundtrack, which was never used.

Now Jimmy has posted on his Facebook page that the title score for the film – as well as other soundtrack music he recorded in his home studio – have been rediscovered, remixed, and will be released via his website.

The post explains, “This is a musical diary of avant-garde compositions and experiments, one of which was to appear on the film ‘Lucifer Rising’. The collection has been exhumed and is now ready for public release. This will be available exclusively on the website.”

It will be available on heavyweight vinyl, with a special limited edition run of numbered copies, the first 93 of which will be signed.

Lucifer Rising And Other Sound Tracks will be available to buy here at jimmypage.com from March 20.

Tracklisting:

Side One
1) Lucifer Rising – Main Track

Side Two
1) Incubus
