Australia’s music education facility JMC Academy will introduce a short course on Pop Songwriting and Production.

Songwriters, Producers and Instrumentalists will get to work together in groups and individually writing, recording and mixing an original song. The songs will then be played to a panel of industry professionals to provide feedback.

The Pop Songwriting and Production course is over four days. It will kick off in January 2018 at JMC’s Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane campuses.

Course requirements

Songwriters: Please send a demo of one of your songs in mp3 file format or sound cloud, together with a short bio to [email protected]. This will allow us to allocate you the best instrumentalist and producer to suit your musical style.

Instrumentalists: Please upload a video of you performing a piece to Youtube or Vimeo, together with a short bio and send it to [email protected]. This will allow us to allocate you the best songwriter and producer to suit your musical style.
