John Farnham, Jimmy Barnes and Noiseworks To Play Benefit For Stuart Fraser

in News

John Farnham, Jimmy Barnes and Noiseworks will gather for a benefit concert for Stuart Fraser, who has at one time played in all-three bands.

Stuart ‘Chet’ Fraser was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2016. His mates have gathered for the ‘Playing It Forward’ benefit at Melbourne’s Hisense Arena on 28 June.

“I’ve played with Stuart since he was very young,” says Jimmy Barnes in a statement. “He’s one of the nicest people I know and one of the best guitar players in the business, it’s so great to see so many people in the music industry rally together for such a good human being.”

The concert is supported by Olivia Newton-John who is also battling her own round of cancer. The concert will not only benefit Stuart and his Help A Mate appeal but also the Olivia Newton-John Wellness Centre and music charity organisation Support Act.
