Jon Stevens has lined up a mini RockFest for Corner Hotel show with The Heartache State featuring Nick Barker and J.R. Reyne joining the bill.

The Heartache State collaborates Nick Barker and Justin Garner. Nick produced Justin’s Southpaw band’s debut album and Justin played on Nick’s recent solo record. As The Heartache State the two combine Justin’s inspirations of Aerosmith and the Allman Brothers with Nick’s The Replacements and Tom Petty listening history to create the montage of sounds that remind of you the Gram Parsons’ inspired Stones era to the evolution of the American sound through to Black Crowes.

J.R. Reyne recorded his recent ‘Go On Easy – Volume 1’ E.P. with Craig Harnath and Finn Keane at Hothouse Studio in St Kilda. It has also starred as Dan Delaney in the TV show ‘The Secret Daughter’ where he contributed the two songs ‘Good Times’ (The Easybeats) and ‘Rocks’ (Primal Scream) to the soundtrack.

Jon Stevens most recent album is ‘Starlight’ from 2017. Jon’s album was produced by Dave Stewart of Eurythmics fame and features gust appearances from Ringo Starr and Richie Sambora.

Jon’s setlist will cover his 30+ years in his set at the Corner. Noiseworks debut single ‘No Lies’ debuted in November, 1986. The debut self-titled Noiseworks album was released on 27 July 2018.

Jon Stevens will perform at the Corner Hotel in Melbourne on 9 June 2018. Tickets are available here.
