Jon Toogood’s The Adults Release Second Album

Jon Toogood’s other band The Adults has a new album ‘Haja’.

Toogood is the frontman for Shihad. Shihad have released nine albums since 1988.

The Adults is Jon’s collaboration with with many other New Zealand musicians. The first album in 2011 featured Anika Moa, Julia Deans, Shayne Carter and Ladi6.

‘Haju’ brings together Chelsea Jade, Estère, JessB, Miloux,and Raiza Biza, Aaradhna and recent breakthrough artist Kings who features on the first single ‘Take It On the Chin’.

‘Haja’ is inspired from Jon’s 2014 wedding in Khartoum, Sudan and the traditional music, Aghani-Al-Banat, performed as part of the ceremony.
