Lady Gaga has reportedly called it quits with her long-term manager Troy Carter.

The 27-year-old Applause singer is currently a free agent as she is no longer managed by Carter, according to Us Weekly.

A source confirmed to the tabloid the pair severed their professional relationship due to ‘creative differences’.

Apparently Gaga is having mixed feelings about being on her own, as she has been under the direction of Troy for nearly a decade

“It’s sad but also liberating at the same time,” an insider told the magazine of the situation.

“One door closes and another opens.”

Troy helped propel Gaga into superstardom after he signed a contract with her in 2007. He also received an Emmy nod for his work on her HBO Monster Ball Tour special.

It is rumoured that Gaga’s relationship with another important man in her life, boyfriend Taylor Kinney, is also over.

But sources close to the couple claim this is simply ‘not true’.

The pair were captured kissing during Sunday’s YouTube Music Awards in an Instagram video taken by former American Idol contestant Alex Ryan.

The clip seems to dispute any and all claims that they are currently on the rocks.

British newspaper The Sun previously reported that Gaga’s extreme workload is the cause of their alleged breakup.

“Taylor has told her she’s married to her career and that he can’t deal with dating Gaga the mega-star and all her obsessions and alter-egos,” an insider told the publication.

“He loves the cool, down-to-earth girl but hardly gets to see her.’
