Lady Gaga SXSW Event Is A Complete Sell-Out

by Paul Cashmere on March 13, 2014

in News

Lady Gaga’s showcase at SXSW in Austin, Tx this week is a complete sell-out and by that I don’t mean all tickets have been sold, I mean she has sold-out to a corporate sponsor.

Gaga is performing at SXSW for a greasy corn chip company and is forcing fans to promote the greasy corn chip if they want a ticket to the show.

According to the rules of seeing Gaga, “Fans must complete a bold mission for the chance to get a ticket and that includes SXSW attendees, too!” That means the SXSW delegate badge is overridden by the (nacho) cheesy chip rules.

The greasy chip company “will reveal a series of challenges – known as Bold Missions – that you must complete for a chance to gain access to the show”.

Jay-Z and Kanye West are also performing at SXSW but you can only enter if you own the brand of mobile phone they a promoting.

Last year Foo Fighters jumped the shark by performing exclusively for fans who had the credit card of choice the band was promoting.
