Lionel Richie Set For Vegas Residency

Lionel Richie is the latest to sign on for a multi-month string of shows with an April start for his residency at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

Richie said of his new show “I’m so excited to begin my residency at Planet Hollywood. I can’t wait to share ‘All the Hits, All Night Long’ with all of my fans – it’s a high energy show that is a perfect match for such a vibrant city!”

David Hoenemeyer, regional president of Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, said “As one of the world’s best-selling artists of all time, with several #1 records and an unparalleled collection of awards and honors, Lionel Richie is undoubtedly a legendary artist and music icon, and we anxiously look forward to having him join the exciting lineup we have planned for The AXIS next year, further cementing Planet Hollywood’s position as the city’s premier entertainment destination.”

Planet Hollywood is the home of such acts as Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Pitbull and Jeff Dunham.

Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday (September 18) at 10 AM PT while Ticketmaster, Live Nation and Total Rewards members will have early access the day before.

April 2016: 27, 30
May 2016: 1, 4, 7, 8, 11, 14, 15, 18
September 2016: 21, 24, 25, 28
October 2016: 1, 2, 5, 8, 9, 12

Lionel Richie had nine top ten hits with the Commodores and thirteen as a solo artist including the number ones Three Times a Lady, Still (both with the Commodores), Endless Love (with Diana Ross), Truly, All Night Long (All Night), Hello and Say You Say Me.
