Live Nation have confirmed to the Herald Sun’s Nui Te Koha that plans for the Madonna Australian tour for January 2013 have been officially scrapped.

Live Nation was expected to announce the Madonna Australian tour on July 12 but the announcement was delayed until after the London Olympics.

The MDNA tour started in Israel on May 31.

Madonna’s manager Guy Oseary told promoter Live Nation yesterday that Australia will no longer happen in 2013.

Madonna has only ever toured Australia once on ‘The Girlie Tour’ back in 1994.
