Multiple promo tours to the USA by Melbourne band Jacobs Run are starting to pay off. US radio programmers are starting to pay attention and their songs Hold On A Minute, Use, Sleepwalking, Better Days and So Beautiful are getting airplay.

Jacobs Run visited the USA in 2018 and 2019 and plan a return visit in 2020. Now Indiana station 103.3 FIX recently made Jacobs Run their Artist of the Week.

The video for their song ‘Superman’ was directed by Scott Kingman of The Screaming Jets.

In Australia Jacobs Run have toured with Jimmy Barnes, Jon Stevens, The Black Sorrows and The Badloves.

Jacobs run are Michael Jacobs (guitar/vocals), Fabian Bucci (drums) and Peter Curigliano
(bass). The band have been playing around Melbourne in recent years. “We have known each other for so long that we are always honest with each other – good or bad – and have each others back. We’re like brothers”, comments Peter Curigliano.

“I think as you get older, your life experiences and the breadth of music that you have been exposed to definitely has an influence on what comes out in the songs, even the way you play, and definitely the lyrics. I definitely write different lyrics today than I would have when I was 20,” adds Michael Jacobs.

The debut album has been completed and is on the way. Except the album in September.
