Memo Music Hall has the 80s covered this weekend with Mi-Sex performing this Friday and the double header of Boom Crash Opera and Machinations on Saturday.

Mi-Sex overlapped 1979 into 1980 with ‘But You Don’t Care’ and ‘Computer Games’ both new music exactly 40 years ago.

Pollyman, featuring George Wilson, will open for Mi-Sex.

Melbourne’s Machinations had three albums in the 1980s. Machinations first hit was ‘Pressure Sway’ in 1983. They also popped out ‘No Say In It’, ‘My Hearts On Fire’ and ‘Do To You’ throughout the year.

For Boom Crash Opera, 2019 marks the 30th anniversary of their second album ‘These Here Are Crazy Times’. The album generated hits in ‘Onion Skin’, ‘The Best Thing’, ‘Get Out of the House’ and ‘Dancing In The Storm’.
