Mike Barson of Madness says he is amazed his band have become “national treasures” in England because when they started out the press thought they were a joke.

Madness will be in Australia for Bluesfest and their own headline dates in April. Madness founder Mike Barson is special guest at iHeartRadio Music News powered by Noise11.com this week.

Australian pop music icon Scott Carne of Kids In The Kitchen also joins Noise11.com this week. His Absolutely 80s show will play Noise11’s new HQ, The X Studio in Sydney on February 24.

Scott, Brian Mannix of Uncanny X-Men, Dale Ryder of Boom Crash Opera and Paul Gray of Wa Wa Nee collectively have over 30 Top 40 hits in Australia and they will play a good number of them at The X Studio for the Absolutely 80s show.

This week hear new music from Blondie, Birds of Tokyo, Zac Brown Band and Jamiroquai.
