The new Vance Joy video ‘I’m With You’ was once again directed by his long-term collaborator Mimi Cave.

US director Mimi worked with Vance Joy on ‘Lay It On Me’, ‘We’re Going Home’ and ‘Call If You Need Me’. The new video was filmed in Hawaii portraying two women’s relationship like a dream.

“These two women meet in a world that feels like the interior of their imaginations. In this place they drown-out any preconceived ideas of who they’re supposed to be or be with… they’re free from judgement. The video depicts the idea of meeting someone that understands you in a way that feels like looking into a mirror… That someone that you can be with and say nothing — but know they’re right there with you no matter what.”

Mimi Cave has made videos for Sleigh Bells, Sylvan Esso and Danny Brown.

‘I’m With You’ is the fifth single from Vance Joy’s second album ‘Nature of Two’. The album reached no 1 in Australia, gave Vance Joy his first Top 10 album in the USA (no. 10) and also reached no. 2 in Canada.

Vance Joy will tour Europe in 2019 with Pink.
