Motorhead Delay Album Release By One Month

Motorhead has been forced to delay the updated version of their 2013 album, Aftershock, after finding a production error.

The original release date of July 28 has now been moved to August 25.

While the release was supposed to coincide with the band’s European tour, it will now not be out until after the tour concludes.

This summer’s tour is, hopefully, a triumphant return for the band after vocalist and bassist Lemmy Kilmister had a variety of medical problems in 2013 leading to the cancellation of much of their touring plans. Lemmy now says he’s feeling better, noting that he has switched from whiskey to Moscato wine.

The Tour Edition of Aftershock includes the original album plus a second disc recorded live during the band’s shows earlier this year.

The track listing for the bonus live CD:
Damage Case
Stay Clean
I Know How To Die
Metropolis
Over The Top
The Chase Is Better Than The Catch
Rock It
Lost Woman Blues
Doctor Rock
Just `Cos You Got The Power
Going To Brazil
Killed By Death
Ace Of Spades
Overkill
