Rita Ora was hospitalised due to exhaustion on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old singer shared a snap of herself on a hospital bed with her fans on Instagram, showing a drip connected up to her arm.

She captioned the shot: “Today was pretty tough but I’m getting through it thank you to all of you for the support! I love you!! #exhaustionisreal.”

The R.I.P singer then shared the snap on her Twitter page as well, writing: “Today was pretty tough but I’m getting through it thank you all my fans and friends for the support! I love you!” completing the message with some heart emojis.

WENN has contacted Rita’s spokesperson for an update on her condition.

Rita’s “tough day” comment was likely to be in reference to the trial of Charaf Elmoudden, who was found guilty of burgling $269,000 (£200,000) worth of goods from the singer’s London home in November.

The 26-year-old was accused of stealing expensive items, including designer clothes, bags and shoes, plus phones, perfume and computers while How We Do star Rita and her sister Elena were sleeping.

Elmoudden and his accomplice escaped before police arrived on the scene, but he was identified by surveillance camera images and Elena picked him out of a police line-up. His partner was not caught.

Though Elmoudden denied the allegations, but was found guilty on one count of burglary by a majority of 10 to two in Harrow Crown Court in London on Wednesday (29Jun16). He was remanded in custody ahead of sentencing.

Rita, who was not present in court Wednesday, broke down as she gave evidence during one of the days of the trial. The call she made to the emergency services was also played to the court.

In the recording, she sobbed, “Don’t you fucking come up these stairs. I will fuck you up – you fucking hear me?… Oh my God, I don’t have a knife, I know they’re going to come upstairs. What do I do? What do I do? Oh my God. Fucking hell – I’m scared to go downstairs.”

Her older sister Elena woke to find Elmoudden in bedroom and he ran out after she began screaming. She ran upstairs to Rita’s bedroom, where they called the police.
