Nile Rodgers of the legendary Chic will perform his own shows in Melbourne and Brisbane as well as his festival performance at Meredith this weekend.
Rodgers has been generating incredible reviews from a new audience after being rediscovered because of the success of his work on Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’ album this year.
Daft Punk was just the tip of the iceberg for the massive amount of hits Nile Rodgers’ has produced for artists such as Madonna (Like A Virgin), Duran Duran (The Reflex) and INXS (Original Sin).
Rodgers has produced Mick Jagger, Grace Jones, Peter Gabriel, Debbie Harry, Diana Ross, Sister Sledge, Depeche Mode and B-52’s.
As the founder of Chic, he also had his own hits with ‘Le Freak’, ‘Good Times’ and ‘Dance Dance Dance’.
