The band has posted on its Facebook page “Philadelphia Grand Jury are no more. After years of touring together, recording together, working together and living together, we’ve decided we need our own space. Big, big thanks to everyone who has supported us and given us the opportunity to have what is pretty much a dream existence. Most of all, thanks to all the drummers that have put up with us both”.

The band members were MC Bad genius, Berkfinger and Susie Dreamboat.

In March 2011 the band announced that they were on a hiatus while Berkfinger (Simon Berckelman) concentrated on other projects and moved to Berlin to finish one of his other recordings.

Original drummer Dan Williams (Dan W Swear) left the band in 2009. He is now with Art vs. Science. He was temporarily replaced with Earth Wind and Fire’s Calvin Welch and then Susie Dreamboat (Susanna Patten) from I Heart Hiroshima.
