Pink Gets Star On Hollywood Walk of Fame

Pink is the latest star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Pink’s star was unveiled at 6801 Hollywood Boulevard. It is the 2,656th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Ellen DeGeneres introduced Pink saying, “I’ve gotten to know Pink over the years and I cannot think of anyone more worthy of this honor. She is a huge international star and the most grounded person that you will ever meet.”

“It has been a trip lately,” Pink then said. “It’s been two decades and it’s been meaningful and it’s been awesome. Today for me is a celebration of something that my dad taught me. And that is ‘to thine own self be true’ … And if you walk along this boulevard and look at these names there is a power in believing in yourself — you may not be the best that ever did it, you may not be the prettiest or the tallest of the funniest or the most talented … if you’re stubborn and you don’t give up and you work really hard — no one else can ever be you. Today is an absolute honor. Today proves that. My whole family is here and that makes it real”.

“We are thrilled to honor one of the world’s most popular entertainers P!NK! She is a unique performer who leaves you in a state of joy and surprise at the same time. She mesmerizes the audience with her voice and her action-packed performances!” said Ana Martinez, Producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
