Queen + Adam Lambert will tour North America again in 2019.

Queen + Adam Lambert played their last show of 2018 at Park MGM in Las Vegas on 22 September. 2018 saw the band tour the world with dates in Australia and New Zealand in February, Europe in June and the Vegas residency in September.

The Rhapsody tour for 2019 will be right across the continent.

Roger Taylor said: “We are ready for America and raring to get back in the saddle.”

Adam Lambert said: “We have been designing a brand new visual spectacle that will reframe these iconic songs and we are excited to unveil it!”

With Brian May adding: “This is a great opportunity. Our last tour featured our most ambitious production ever and got us our best notices ever. So we decided to rip it apart and get even more ambitious! Watch out, America! ”

The band will feature long-term collaborator Spike Edney on keyboards, Neil Fairclough on bass, and Tyler Warren on percussion.

The new show will have completely new visuals from the team behind the recent News of the World tour, Ric Lipson of Stufish Entertainment Architects handling set design; Rob Sinclair on lighting design; and Sam Pattinson of Treatment Studio behind the video content.

The 23-date arena and stadium tour will start in Vancouver on July 10, 2019.
