Rick Springfield has announced a thirty date summer tour that will include other major 80’s artists at almost every stop.

Among the artists that will appear are Night Ranger, the Romantics, Loverboy, the Fixx, Tommy Tutone and .38 Special. See below for the guest schedule.

The tour opens June 18 in Andover, KS and runs through August 28 in Atlanta, GA.

For 28 of the dates on the tour, Springfield is offering up the position of “honorary guitar tech” with a package that includes attending the sound check, watching the show from backstage, assisting with the guitars and handing Rick the instruments between songs. Springfield will also give the honoree a signed guitar. Proceeds from the $2,000 position will go to the estate of Ruben Velasco, Rick’s longtime guitar tech who died last week from cancer.
