Promoters Michael Chugg and Rob Potts have teamed with the Deni Ute Muster peeps to create this new event for the region at the site of the Deni Ute Muster.

“We’re so excited to bring this new event to Deniliquin for the first time. This is an area with a strong tradition of bringing people together for a good time and with the calibre of acts on this line-up, they won’t be disappointed,” Chugg said.

Local acts for announced today include Chris Russell’s Chicken Walk, Chris Wilson/Geoff Achison Band, Gallie & Shannon Bourne, Collard Greens & Gravy, Morgan Evans, Ward’s Express and Marco Goldsmith Band.

Matthew Lazarus-Hall, CEO Chugg Entertainment said: “The inaugural Deni Blues & Roots Festival is an exciting new event for us to be a part of, having worked on a number of great festivals over the years that are staged around the Easter long weekend, we know that this is the perfect time of year for people to get away from their busy lives for a few days and enjoy some great live music.”

The Deni Ute Muster site was the perfect venue for this festival and with thanks to Regional Development Australia funding it was given the go-ahead.

CEO of Rob Potts Entertainment Edge, Rob Potts said, “To make a successful festival you need a great site, access to lots of people, world class staging and infrastructure and a killer line-up of great international and local talent. The inaugural Deni Blues & Roots Festival at Easter on the famous Deni Ute Muster site brings all of these components together over one million holiday makers and locals take a break and play on the Murray and Edward Rivers. We’re always excited about building a new festival, especially when everything seems just right for the occasion.”

The Inaugural Deni Blues & Roots Festival will be held at Conargo Rd, Deniliquin.
