Snoop Dogg Says Kanye West Is Crazy

Snoop Dogg has called his fellow rapper Kanye West “crazy” following his rant during a concert in Sacramento, California on Saturday.

West is known for launching into random rants during his concerts but he shocked his audience on Saturday when he took aim at Beyonce and Jay Z, claiming she wouldn’t perform at an awards show unless she won a prize and her husband hasn’t spoken to him in a long time.

Snoop Dogg has since weighed in by posting videos on Instagram of him watching clips of Kanye’s rant and giving commentary, questioning what Kanye’s “on”.

“This nigga crazy. Have you heard this nigga diss a nigga onstage?! This nigga crazier than the shit I got on my head…,” he said, referencing the silk scarf he was wearing on his locks.

“I can’t believe he’s still talking,” he continued. “He picked the wrong night to vent like that, them Sacramento niggas ain’t feeling that shit… he was talking that weird ass shit. That’s just my thoughts. I smoke weed. Weed don’t make you do that. What the fuck is he on?”

During his rant, Kanye claimed Beyonce refused to perform at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards unless she won the coveted Video of the Year honour, a prize he was shortlisted for. He told the crowd he was “hurt” and there was too much focus on “playing the politics too much and forgetting who we are”.

He also encouraged Jay Z to give him a call and abruptly ended the gig after performing only four tracks.

He was due to return to The Forum in Inglewood, California on Sunday to make up for a show he had cut short due to vocal issues, but that was cancelled. Sources told TMZ he was taking a break due to personal issues.

The rapper, who is usually quiet on social media, also returned to Instagram to post upwards of a hundred fashion images. The pictures, which had an old, fuzzy quality, feature models showcasing clothes or lone articles of clothing.
